Jasaraharja Putera Disburses IDR 2.6 Billion in Claims to PT Sungai Danau Jaya

Printable.biz.id – PT Jasaraharja Putera (JRP Insurance) has demonstrated its commitment to fulfilling Public Liability insurance claims by disbursing IDR 2.6 billion to PT Sungai Danau Jaya (SDJ).

This claim was paid due to an incident in Makmur Village, Angsana District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, caused by heavy rainfall. The torrential rain led to the collapse of a waste disposal containment embankment belonging to PT Sungai Danau Jaya.

Jasaraharja Putera's President Director, Abdul Haris, stated that the claim payment is expected to help PT Sungai Danau Jaya and the residents of Makmur Village recover from the aftermath of the incident.

As an insurance company committed to customer satisfaction, JRP Insurance acted swiftly in handling the claim. After going through a verification and assessment process following standard procedures, JRP Insurance approved the claim and immediately processed the payment.

"We hope this claim payment will assist PT Sungai Danau Jaya (SDJ) and the residents of Makmur Village in restoring conditions after the incident," said Abdul Haris, President Director of Jasaraharja Putera.

The embankment collapse caused wastewater to flow into local oil palm plantations, contaminating the soil and harming local farmers. KUD Berkat Makmur, which represents the affected oil palm farmers, filed a compensation claim against PT Sungai Danau Jaya.

Since PT Sungai Danau Jaya holds a Public Liability insurance policy from Jasaraharja Putera, the claim was processed and approved to help cover the losses.

With this claim payment, it is hoped that the affected residents and relevant parties can quickly recover and restore conditions after the disaster.
